KOCHPAC gives another $5,000 to NC Chamber PAC

KOCHPAC, the political action committee funded by employees of Koch Industries, gave a second $5,000 donation on May 5 to the North Carolina Chamber PAC. The first came on April 11, with both totalling $10,000. At least one of these donations must be intended for independent expenditures, which are not coordinated with a party or candidate, since contributors may not give more than $5,000 per election to PACs for direct spending in coordination with a party or candidate, according to state law.

Koch Industries Public Sector LLC gave $50,000 to NC Chamber IE on April 14, 2014. NC Chamber IE shares an address with NC Chamber and NC Chamber PAC, along with two other related entities, though the entities are purportedly separate.
